Welcome to citizensforjordan.com, and thank you for joining me in the fight to restore independence and innovative thinking to Albany this November.

I want everyone to have the same unbridled enthusiasm for what the 136th district and New York State can be as I have. When we band together, buckle down, and unite under the common banner of progress there isnt anything that we cant accomplish. In the coming months I hope to get to know the people of the 136th on a personal level, and allow your voices and views to shape my stance on the issues; allowing you to finally be heard above the party bosses and corporate interests. I promise that If you put me to work in Albany, Ill make Albany work for you.

Why Is Albany Broken?

  • Gross partisanship leading to gridlock.
  • The constituency has been ignored for too long.
  • A lack of innovative leadership and solutions, no imagination.
  • Out of control spending.
  • Unfunded mandates pass the buck to county and municipal govt's
  • Unfair tax structure.
  • Corruption has made Albany the laughing stock of the nation.

How Do We fix It?

  • Vote in new and truly independent voices.
  • Demand greater interaction with our leaders.
  • Revisit corporate tax breaks / make wall street pay its fair share.
  • Leaders must have a renewed concern with main street issues.
  • Encourage growth of the jobs market, and thereby revitalize the tax base.
  • Revisit and eliminate redundencies in the tax code and entitlement programs.
